NØRN Zetland is a distinctive, rich, smooth Single Malt Scotch finished with pure, crisp Shetland Rock Spring water.

Conceived and finished at  60ºN by our legendary Master Distiller Ian Millar, Zetland is a 12 year old Single Malt discreetly acquired from a premier Speyside Distillery. Maturation is the key, in a balance of both ex-Bourbon American Oak and ex-Oloroso European Oak casks to achieve a rich and smooth finish on the palate with a touch of depth and complexity coming from the ex Sherry casks. Pure Shetland water brings it to a bottle strength of 47% Vol.

Our vision for a ‘spirit of Shetland’ is absolutely encapsulated in this fine Single Malt.

As a limited Edition of 166 and with demand already anticipated, it’s going to be a delicacy to savour while it lasts.

Master Distiller's notes

'Zetland was designed around the American oak but we wanted to add a little spiciness and complexity so finding the perfect balance with the Sherry cask was essential. This is a distinctive Single Malt without compromise, a pure indulgence to craft.'

Nose

The captivating sweet spice is interwoven with a delicate vanilla, and a light fruity aroma all layered on a background of brown sugar.

Palete

Prepare for a bold sweet spicy hit front of mouth followed by a fruity and citrus sensation, a sensual light bitter hit at the back of the palate.

Finish

The perfect relaxed balance provides a long smooth finish. Enjoy with a few drops of water or indeed a couple of ice cubes.
