Experience Lerwick Distillery
WE ARE HOSTING EXCLUSIVE TASTING SESSIONS WITH A SNEAK-PEEK BEHIND THE SCENES OF OUR DISTILLERY, IN THE CENTRE OF LERWICK.
The Distillery itself is currently being assembled and due to go operational later this year, so in the meantime it’s a fascinating opportunity to privately see how it’s all coming together, take a look at the workings and equipment including those gorgeous, giant copper stills.
We’re calling these exclusive sessions ‘The NØRN Whisky Experience'. Tastings involve a very particular choice of whiskies including the NØRN’s, that our Master Distiller, the legendary Ian Millar, has conceived on the journey to defining the recipe for Shetland’s first ever whisky.
The NØRN Whisky Experience features two drams and a taster of Lerwick Distillery's inaugural releases, plus a highball of one of our personal favourite whiskies.
We’re limiting these sessions to a relaxing 12 guests, so booking online is highly recommended. Arrive at least 10 minutes before the session starts. Over 18’s only but please bring ID if you are graced with particularly youthful looks.
