First Minister John Swinney Visits Lerwick Distillery

Scotland's First Minister, John Swinney, paid a visit to Lerwick Distillery - and it's a day our entire team will not forget.

Welcoming such a distinguished guest to the northernmost distillery in Scotland was a genuine honour. We took the opportunity to share what we do and why we do it: the craft, the care, and the deep sense of place that runs through everything we produce at 60° North.

From the character of our ingredients to the patience required at every stage of the process, we walked the First Minister through the story behind every drop - and the rich Shetland heritage that continues to inspire us.

The visit marks a proud milestone for Lerwick Distillery, and a meaningful moment of recognition for Shetland's contribution to Scotland's world-renowned whisky industry. It is a contribution we take seriously, and one we are committed to building on.

Slàinte mhath to a truly memorable day.
