Great Partnerships Are Built In Much The Same Way As Great Whisky

Some evenings remind you that great partnerships are built in much the same way as great whisky, through patience, shared values, and bringing the right people together.

We were honoured to represent Lerwick Distillery at Eden Hall, the residence of the British High Commissioner in Singapore, as part of the Scottish Trade Mission.

A sincere thank you to His Excellency Nikesh Mehta for such a warm welcome and for hosting an exceptional evening. Surrounded by outstanding Scottish products, wonderful hospitality and inspiring conversations, it was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the strength of Scottish enterprise on the international stage.

Standing together on the historic staircase of Eden Hall was a fitting reminder that every successful journey is built one step at a time. For Lerwick Distillery, our journey began on the Shetland Islands, creating a whisky that reflects the character, resilience and craftsmanship of our home. Seeing Scottish businesses come together in Singapore reinforced how those local stories can resonate on a global stage.

The conversations throughout the evening were optimistic, forward looking and full of opportunity. We left inspired by the connections made and excited about what lies ahead for Scottish exports in Asia.
